We are thrilled to announce the upcoming relaunch of our IEP Kits for the 2026 – 2027 school year! These kits are meticulously designed to empower families with the tools and resources necessary to navigate the IEP process effectively. Updated annually, our IEP Kits provide innovative strategies to help you advocate for your student, ensuring they receive the support and services they need to thrive. Stay tuned for more details on how these comprehensive kits can make a difference in your student’s educational journey.
DISCLAIMER: IEP Kits are for families within the 25 counties DSACO serves, and each family is eligible to receive one kit per year, intended for the child with DS, but the tools received in the kit are applicable to all IEP meetings!
Registration Information for 2026-27 IEP Kits:
- Registration Opens: Monday, June 1 at 5 PM
- Registration Closes: Wednesday, July 1 at 5 PM
- IEP Kits for the 2026-27 school year will not be mailed. Families are able to select their preferred pickup date and location on the registration form. If the selected pickup location is the Summer Social or School Age Group meeting, registration for those events is required separately. If unable to pickup an IEP Kit in person, there is also an option for digital delivery where the IEP Kit materials will be emailed in a PDF format. Physical kits will not be held after the final pickup date, unless prior arrangements have been made.
IEP Kit Pickup Dates:
- DSACO Summer Social | Sunday, August 2 from 1:05 PM – 4 PM
- August School Age Group | Friday, August 7 from 9 AM – 12 PM
- DSACO Office Hours | Monday & Tuesday, August 10 & 11 from 9 AM – 5 PM
- Digital Delivery | Emailed Monday, August 10
