The DSACO Dancing with Our Stars Gala is more than just an evening of fine dining and dancing; it’s a heartfelt celebration that showcases the essence of our mission.

The highlight of this special event is a professionally choreographed ballroom dancing performance featuring over 50 adults with Down syndrome. These remarkable individuals have dedicated countless hours to perfect their skills, and now they’re ready to dazzle you with their live performances!

Stars Needed! 

If you are a self-advocate (18+) and you are looking for a new and exciting way to shine, then the Dancing with Our Stars Gala is for you!

If you are interested in performing at the Dancing with Our Stars Gala on February 7, 2026, then DSACO wants to hear from you! You will have the opportunity to join DSACO and the Arthur Murray Dance Studio for lessons over the next few months to learn choreographed ballroom dances. Then you will show off your moves in a live performance on Gala night.

No prior dance experience is necessary. Practices take place on Saturday afternoons throughout November, December, and January. If you are interested in this 10-week commitment, please email Lucy Maddrill at lmaddrill@dsaco.net.
