The desire for intimacy and meaningful connections is a fundamental aspect of being human. People with intellectual disabilities share these same desires, but often face unique obstacles when entering the world of dating.\nDuring this workshop, parents will have the opportunity to explore the challenges that individuals with intellectual disabilities encounter and gain insight into the vital role that parents and/or support providers can play.
