Dr. Kvitko Golf Classic

Teeing up for the Dr. Kvitko Golf Classic  will do more than get you a little exercise. The event set for Saturday, July 31, benefits Golf For Life Ohio, a program sponsored by the Down Syndrome Association of Central Ohio (DSACO) that provides one-on-one golf instruction by PGA professionals to children and adults with Down syndrome.

In recent years, DSACO held three separate tournaments. This year, the three have been rolled into one to form the Golf  Classic, named after Dr. Brian Kvitko, a Clintonville dentist and host of “Dentally Speaking with Dr. Kvitko,” a local talk show airing on radio station Sunny 95. Kvitko has been a long-time supporter of the Down Syndrome Association of Central Ohio.

The 2010 Golf Classic will be held at two area courses, Bent Tree Golf Club, 350 Bent Tree Road in Sunbury and Royal American Links, 3300 Miller Paul Road in Galena.
