Description:
The Columbus walk is one of the largest in the country, drawing 5,000 participants each year to Columbus Crew Stadium. Along with the one-milewalk, participants enjoy a day full of activities including face painting, musical entertainment, having hair and nails done by students of the Paul Mitchell Salon School, and so much more!
Event History:
Held in October to kick off National Down Syndrome Awareness Month, the Columbus Buddy Walk® is just one of 275 such walks held nationwide to raise awareness about Down syndrome. Columbus Buddy Walk® is a trademarked program created by the National Down Syndrome Society in 1995 to assist local parent groups in their advocacy efforts.
