It is a goal of the Primary Care Network to positively impact the health of all children in the community. To that end, Nationwide Children's Hospital’s Primary Care Network has been distributing H1N1 vaccine to our high priority patients and is now expanding our reach to medically fragile children who are patients of Nationwide Children’s Specialty Clinics.
Effective November 9, 2009, H1N1 vaccine will be offered to children in the following groups:
- Children 6 months – 24 years who are medically fragile and are seen in a Nationwide Children’s Specialty clinic. Contact Central Scheduling for appointment.
- Children 6 months – 24 years who are patients in the Primary Care Network. Contact Central Scheduling for appointment.
Special Flu Vaccine Clinics have been scheduled throughout November. Clinics will continue, dependent on vaccine availability. While the vaccine is free, there is an administrative fee that will be billed to the recipient’s insurance company or responsible payor. Appointments for the Flu Vaccine Clinics will be made on a first come, first served basis at the two locations below. We cannot accommodate walk-ins. Please make an appointment.
