Allan Our son Allan is 2 months old and has been such a terrific blessing to our family. Allan is our firstborn child and we were unaware of Allan having DS until after he was born. However, my husband and I are most fortunate to have the uncompromised love and support of our family and friends. To date, I am grateful that my beautiful boy has no major health complications. We look forward to the days and years ahead. I pray God's best for his life and pray that my hubby and I will be as big a blessing to his life as he's already been to ours. |

I have also made life choices, like become a stay at home mom, that I may not have made if she had been a "typical" child. WE live in Athens Ohio and services here are terribly limited, so I hope that all the things I am involving her in now will benefit her future. We were told Praise will pose all kinds of medical problems, especially heart problems. To the glory of God, Praise does not have any heart problems and has been an almost perfect child health wise. She is full of energy. Praise is not talking yet, but we are believing God for a complete transformation in that area.
