 | Find a treasure at the Down Syndrome Association of Central Ohio's family picnic! The theme this year is "Pirate Adventure, Matey".
A day of fun in the sun is planned for Saturday August 11, 2007.
Bring family and friends for an afternoon filled with field games, dancing, clowns, fishing (please bring your own supplies) and pony cart rides! The picnic will be held from 4 PM to 8 PM at Scioto Park, located at 7377 Riverside Drive, Dublin, OH - at the North and Central Shelters. Scioto Park is located less than 2 miles south of the Columbus Zoo, south of Hard Road and north of Bright Road. Scioto Park is the riverfront home to the Dublin Arts Council's Indian Chief Leather Lips sculpture, part of the "Art-in-Public-Places" series. The park also offers a river landing, ADA fishing pier, playground, large playfields, and wooded areas.
Hamburgers, hotdogs, and chips will be provided. Please bring a side dish or dessert to share, along with drinks, table settings, lawn chairs and/or blankets for your family.
