Affiliated with the Down Syndrome Association of Central Ohio*. The Down Syndrome Clinic at Children's Hospital is a family-centered clinic providing diagnostic and treatment services to children and adolescents with Down syndrome and their families. Services may include a comprehensive medical assessment with special attention to the unique medical problems sometimes experienced by children with Down syndrome. Referral to other specialty medical and therapeutic services and laboratory and radiologic assessments are arranged as necessary. Families will be linked with medical, educational, social and financial supports in their communities as indicated and resources identified to assist them in meeting the unique needs of their child. A close working relationship will be maintained with the child's primary care physician. Genetic counseling is available at the Down syndrome clinic.

To expedite insurance coverage, we recommend a referral be sent to the clinic by your primary care physician.
